I had a fantastic stay at Halong Happy in Ha Long! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions or problems I had. The communal area was a great place to relax and have breakfast, which was nice with a variety of choices. The location was perfect, right on the main backpacker street with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms were clean and basic, and I had a good night's sleep. I found the price to be great value for what I received.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Ha Long for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great advice on local attractions and helping me book a day trip to Halong Bay at a very reasonable price. The room was spacious and always had hot water, which was a big plus. Plus, the hostel offered a free beer and breakfast, making for a nice start to the day. I highly recommend this hostel for its excellent service and amenities.

The staff was super cool and hooked us up with the best places to party in Ha Long Bay. They even organized a boat cruise and karaoke night for us. The rooms were cozy and had Wi-Fi so we could post all our epic vacation pics on social media. Definitely worth the hangovers!

We wished there was a lively bar or club within walking distance from the hostel. It would've been awesome to have a late-night party spot right at our doorstep.

The beds are big and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the hostel offers lockers under the beds, allowing for secure storage of belongings.

Loved the free breakfast, especially the yummy western food. The property's location in the heart of Ha Long Bay was perfect. Had a great time at the bar/lounge, quenching my thirst with my favorite drink.

Oh, how delightful! The only downside was being showered with the pleasant aroma of bad sewage in the bathroom.

Cheap day tours to Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba offered by the hostel. Shared area downstairs for breakfast and relaxation. Free beer from 18:30 to 20:30. Double rooms with private bathrooms and soft beds. Good breakfast with 4 different choices and free coffee/tea.

The hostel provided a good breakfast in the morning and had a genuinely relaxed atmosphere. The staff, especially Lisa, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist guests. They arranged transportation and acted as translators when needed. the half-day boat tour of Halong Bay was a good value and offered the opportunity to kayak, despite what the staff initially stated.

The general maintenance and decor of the hostel could use some improvement. The bathroom was run down and dirty, and the noise levels at night were quite high.
